The inspired words, humor, and drive by commencement speaker, Cory Booker, truly inspired me to reflect my goals after graduation. His speech made me have a better respect that I am apart of a rich legacy of scholars.
Booker’s life lesson’s growing up poor in NC are differ from me, however, I was able to connect with him and inspired me to reflect on my goals and act on them.
I hope this speech to touch you as it hit home for me.

Sweet Baby Jesus, Jay and Ye’ did it again!
No warms were needed because Washington D.C. was in the zone last thursday with rap duo’s Jay-Z and Kanye West with their highly talked about concert ‘Watch the Throne.’ With possible special guest that could have graced stage like Rihanna, Frank Ocean, or preggy Beyonce, the stage was taken by arguably the best rappers alive.The concert opened up with fire flames, tigers on the screens, and 2 separate stages rising for the rappers.
Rappers delivered high energy that moved the crowd from side to side. Jay-Z was in you usually Nike fitted while Kanye continues to rock a kilt and skinny jeans.
The song, “Ni**as in Paris, seemed like the crowd favorite. The duo performed a encore of the song with got a lot of positive feedback.
This was my second Kanye West concert and first of Jay-Z. Definitely will support them in both for whats yet to come.
